Meet the Founder
Hi, I’m Caroline…
I’m passionate about people and I believe that everyone should find joy in what they do. That’s why I started Treasure.
Joy comes when we find meaning in our work, we’re aligned with the values of our workplace, and we connect with the people we work with. It makes us happier and allows us to be at our best, which leads to better performance of our business and a great experience for our customers. It also means we’re better partners, parents, and friends.
Until Treasure, my career followed a “traditional” path. I joined a grad scheme from uni, then spent 16 years in a large corporate - Mars - in a variety of customer facing, marketing and leadership roles. It was during my time there that I began to uncover and explore my passion and natural ability for people development and engagement. I spent some of my fondest years working with, developing and learning from some incredibly talented people and teams. Something was missing though, I wanted to make a bit of a bigger “dent in the universe” - although I wasn’t quite sure how - so spent a few more years working in a number of SMEs ; engaging with customers from top floor to shop floor, in organisations big and small and getting a feel for the dynamics, challenges and pleasures of working in a small business environment.
Through these experiences, I realised success doesn’t breed happiness; it’s happiness that breeds success. So I decided to stop worrying about what everyone else thought, and I started doing what makes me happy. I made a brave move. I started Treasure and found my joy.
